What Happens When I Apply?

If you apply to provide foster care and you live in Oklahoma or Canadian counties, your first step will be to schedule a time for a foster care recruiter to visit you in your home. The visit can be scheduled after 5:00 p.m. if you wish. During the visit forms will be completed for background checks and references, etc. The visit will take one the two hours. Later, after work is done on those forms, you will be enrolled in training classes. Additional paper work will be done. The whole process to get you approved will take at least three months.
