Build a Blue Ribbon Tree

Any one can build a Blue Ribbon Tree. Any one who cares about child abuse and about making children safe. Blue ribbons are the symbol of child abuse prevention. Every year, especially during the month of April, Oklahoman celebrates child abuse prevention by building blue ribbon trees. Some are real trees that have been decorated, others are special creations made from materials such as paper, wire or wood. All are beautiful expressions of compassion for Oklahoma children. Each tree can be registered with the Oklahoma Department of Health for possible use in a slide show to be presented at the State Capitol.
