Angel Food, the vendor that once provided food packages to churches to sell, is now out of business. Some churches formerly offering Angel Food are continuing to offer similar food packages through a different vendor, “Mid-America”.

When Angel Food was the vendor, food packages could be purchased at Angle Food locations with EBT cards issued thought the USDA in the program commonly known as food stamps. As far as we at OK COUNTY KIDS know, Mid-America does not take payment through the EBT system. As we understand it, cash and not EBT cards must now be used at locations offering their food packages. Some churches have started work to get EBT set up as a way to pay for Mid-America food packages but none are up and running. If you find about about any that are, please let us know.
